The White King, pride of Elko.

It was a beautiful day. The stands were full. No mules, but some appys in the mixed races w/ quarterhorses.

Post parade. Notice the horsemen in one of three pens in the infield for the brandin' competition.

You can see the calves penned in the background. Suckers.

Got one! He was headed, then heeled, then wrassled down while the other two cowpokes tended the iron and fire.

They are mighty proud of the the White King, a huge polar bear on display inside the casino. (That's the bear up there at the top of this story.)
And there he is!! The White King!! The largest polar bear in the history of bear killin', bagged by some "Eskimos".
